Daniel is chairman of the Board of Directors of Fundación Corona, a philanthropic foundation that promotes social development and social equity in Colombia. Daniel currently serves as chief executive officer of El Paso Advisors. Mr. Echavarría serves on the Board of Directors of Organización Corona and is a member of its investment and audit committees, as well as serving on the boards of various other companies. Previously he was co-founder, chief financial officer and chief operating officer of, a search engine advertising company that was acquired by Yahoo in 2005. Daniel is a member of Young Presidents Organization. He holds a Masters in Finance from London Business School and a BS in Business Administration from the University of Colorado in Boulder.


Hans has more than 25 years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry. He is currently the chief operating officer for the Asia-Pacific region at Agility, a leader in freight forwarding and supply chain logistics. Prior to his role at Agility, Hans held chief executive officer positions with DHL Express and APL Logistics. Hans is a member of Young Presidents Organization and received a BA in Comparative Literature from Brown University.

Navroze Mehta is founder and chief executive officer of Impact Medical Strategies, a company dedicated to developing technologies that impact global health with over a decade of experience in developing early stage medical devices. Most recently he was managing partner at MDI Partners LLC where he used a unique innovation and development framework to bring devices to market. Prior to MDI Partners, he was the founder and vice chairman of NovaVision Inc, a venture-backed company providing neurostimulation devices to restore vision in stroke and traumatic brain injury patients, as well as president and chief executive officer of, a successful B2C company whose revenues grew to $50 million at the time of sale to

Navroze is a member of Young Presidents Organization and former chair of the America's Gateway Chapter.  He is also an active member of the Ashoka Support Network, a leader in the field of social entrepreneurship. Navroze serves on the Board of Directors of Lumni Inc., which funds education for talented low-income college students who are the first in their family to attend college. Born in Wales and raised in India, Navroze received an MBA from Syracuse University and a BA in Commerce from the University of Bombay, India.



Prior to joining Mela Artisans as president, Sonali was vice president of Business Development at Missions Markets, an organization matching impact investors with social entrepreneurs, where she devoted her energies to business development and public relations. She has interned in the Corporate Social Responsibility department of Edelman, a global public relations firm, and has worked for a diverse group of social enterprises in India, Ghana and the U.S. These include Lumni USA, which offers educational holding to low-income college students; Intellecap Inc., a social-sector advisory firm based in Mumbai; and Microfinance and Economic Development Organization, a microfinance company in Accra, Ghana. Sonali also worked as a summer associate for Ashoka in Washington, DC and Mumbai. Sonali earned her BA in International Relations from New York University.
